What To Wear In 2022

When the new year comes around, we all can’t help but wonder what new and exciting things it’s going to bring into our lives. Some focus on their career, some on their personal life and we… well, we want to take a look at what’s going to be trendy in 2022. Despite the difficult times that we have to deal with, nobody cancelled fashion or beauty trends. Being able to express yourself through clothes is now one of the main ways one can catch up with the world. So, buckle up and let’s go on this little journey together. What is going to be in fashion this year?
Let’s go big
Starting from pretty much the most obvious one – oversized clothes. Now, if you’re a fan of bigger jackets, hoodies and sweaters, then it’s great news for you, because this trend is here to stay. We’ve seen it come back to life last year, and we still don’t have enough of it. It just simply looks good! And most importantly, it is so comfortable. It’s great for almost any occasion you can think of – an evening date, a quick run to the shops, a fun night out with your friends. It’s such a popular trend for a reason – you can style it with pretty much anything and it would look just right! No wonder it’s been so big in 1990s, after all, that’s the era we’re getting it from!
What about something small?
Oversized goes so well with something small, for example, a crop top! These have been around last year as well, and they really gained their popularity back then. But not to worry, just like the oversized clothes, these are not going anywhere, chances are, they are going to be more popular than ever. Just think about that – a nice colourful crop top, paired with baggy bottoms and a big, oversized coat. What a look, huh? There’s nothing that would beat that, unless…
Colours?
That’s a huge yes from us! Colours are always more fun to style and match, so why not to go bold this year, especially when that’s one of the leading trends? We know, we know, not everybody likes to wear colourful clothes but that’s not exactly what we’re suggesting. Be bold but be creative with it. Try accessories, instead of a top or bottoms. That’s right, something like a yellow or red handbag would look great with pretty much any neutral-coloured outfit, it’s been tested multiple times! So, why not to let your imagination run free and try something new this year?

Try chunky necklaces
Now, this trend has been around last year as well; we saw it on many celebrities and not only celebrities – it was everywhere. And if you liked it, well, that’s great, because it’s definitely not going anywhere! It’s just such a great way to add some character to your outfit. Say, you’re wearing something minimalistic, like a little black dress. You feel like something is missing so you add a chain necklace and voila! Your outfit is complete. It looks so put together, almost like it was something out of a fashion magazine! The great thing is, you can add a chunky necklace to pretty much anything you decide to wear – chances are, it’s going to look great. On top of everything, you get to choose between the shades of silver and gold, which is always a plus.
As you can see, there are many trends from 2021 that made it through to this year. Of course, we can never be too sure what 2022 will look like but we are happy we can take an educated guess and maybe even foresee some of the upcoming trends. For now, this is what we’ve got and if it’s not one of the most amazing years fashion-wise, then we don’t know what is!
