Waterproof Ratings
IP Ratings
IP ratings are shorthand for Ingress Protection. An IP rating is a two-digit grade system that is applied to the enclosure of our devices. This gives you a clear understanding of the item’s resistance to types of intrusion (water, dust etc). Products that offer IP protection will mention so on their product page along with their rating. For reference see the below chart.
ATM Ratings
ATM describes the pressure a device can withstand when placed underwater. Typically we will display this rating on our product pages if the device offers this extra feature when used in water. For reference see the below chart.
